This year's maze features Martinsburg's historical roundhouse, where the very first nationwide labor movement began.
The Great Strike of 1877 began when the wages of railroad workers were cut by 10%. Conductors, Engineers, Firemen, and Brakemen refused to move the trains until they received a fair wage.
You may notice large swaths of missing corn in the above image. In June, the corn maze flooded three times, washing away vital soil nutrients and making the field inaccessible for weeks. Against all odds, we managed to plant, but some areas didn't grow.
Lose yourself in one of our two 5-acre corn mazes!
Our corn mazes are carefully designed each year to be both challenging and fun, all while having an over-arching theme.
(On average, our mazes take 20 minutes to complete)
